TREBEL launches in the United States and Mexico. Built and perfected technology for TREBEL, integrated ad technology, learned about our users.
What we learned
We established product-market fit by iterating the user experience design of TREBEL to make it the go-to app for on-demand music listening.

We mastered the methods of acquiring users and engaging them with our easy-to-use app and music content provided by the biggest and most important music labels in the world.

We expanded our catalog to include Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group.
2019
TREBEL establishes proof of concept -- that users would adopt TREBEL and that advertisers find value in reaching TREBEL users.
What we learned
TREBEL addresses a need in the US, in communities where millions of music fans don’t have the funds or the means to pay for music subscriptions, and they all need TREBEL for entertainment and mental well being. 

TREBEL has international appeal. It is perfect for Mexico and dozens of international markets with billions of people. We had no idea how people around the world used their Smartphones to listen to music without access to mobile data plans.

TREBEL is ideal for countries with low credit card and bank penetration — subscription-based services require a credit card for recurring payments, not a gift card that runs out.

Many countries have expensive data plans and low Wi-Fi penetration, and music streaming on the go eats into listeners' data plans.
2020
TREBEL establishes the capability to scale and to partner with big brands. The Mexico Model is ready for scaling and expanding to other countries in 2021 and beyond.

The power of free, word of mouth, free media, and artist endorsements can drive low-cost user acquisition in the millions.

A Brand-Supported Music App for All

Brands have known for a long time that music makes people feel a specific emotion, and branding and advertising around music can deliver an emotional connection with consumers and create a relationship with the brand.

How people consume music has changed radically over just the past few years. From physical music to radio to mp3s to illegal downloads to streaming, listeners have demanded that their music be available to them how and when they want to listen to it.

The big streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music have a solution for paying customers, but what about those who cannot pay, either because they can’t afford a premium streaming service or they don’t have access to online payments? Previously, those listeners have been limited to low-quality free services, illegal downloads, or old-fashioned radio.

Illegal downloads are bad news for artists, record labels, and consumers. The free service tiers of the big streamers do not address the needs of listeners. And listeners cannot even choose their own songs on the radio.
